Vasiliadis hits the target in the Bundesliga

On Sunday, Paderborn did concede a home defeat to Wolfsburg, but Greek midfielder Sebastian Vasiliadis gave their fans something to cheer about with a wonderful goal.

With Paderborn already trailing 3-1 at the time, Vasiliadis took aim from long range in the 72nd minute, subsequently beating the goalkeeper with a powerful drive which flew into the right corner. This was the 22-year-old’s maiden Bundesliga marker of the 2019/2020 campaign.

Paderborn did end up losing the game 4-2 as they continue to languish in last position of the standings with 15 points from 20 games.

Vasiliadis played the entire 90 minutes against Wolfsburg at home. So far, he has made 19 league appearances this season, scoring the one goal.
