Vrousai scores winner at Twente
Marios Vrousai struck the only goal of the game against Twente in the Eredivisie to seal a 1-0 victory for Willem II on the road.

With six minutes on the clock, Vrousai successfully connected with a floating cross from the right wing, planting a firm header beyond Twente goalkeeper Joel Drommel. That proved to be the only goal of the match as Willem II held on to beat Twente in their own backyard.
Vrousai played the full 90 minutes. Fellow Greek attacker Vangelis Pavlidis, who scored for the national team against Bosnia and Herzegovina in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying last week, started the game and was substituted in the 79th minute.
So far, Vrousai has competed in 10 Eredivisie games for Willem II this season, contributing with two goals. The 21-year-old has helped Willem II move up to seventh place in the standings with 16 points.
