Visiting Xanthi put struggling Levadiakos into further trouble at the wrong end of the table on Sunday by inflicting another defeat on the Boeotia club, winning 2-1 at the Livadeia Municipal Stadium.

A goal from Dimos Vaxevanidis after 45 minutes and an Erik Jedrisek penalty 20 minutes from full-time proved the difference between the two teams on the day in a fiercely competitive Matchday 7 clash.
The frustrated home side were unlucky not to at least get a draw from the game having seen Fotis Ioannidis hit the woodwork once in each half and miss a clutch of half-decent chances to score.
The hosts did spark some hope late on when Chumbinho got on the score sheet in the first minute of stoppage time, however the goal was not enough as Xanthi held on for the 1:2 victory.
The result leaves Levadiakos languishing down in 14th place with just three points from seven matches, while Xanthi move up to sixth.
