CYPRIOT SOCCER (UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE): All three Cypriot teams that competed in the UEFA Europa League 2nd qualifying round proceeded with wins in their first leg matches. AEL and AEK earned 1-0 away wins in Luxemburg and Ireland respectively, while Apollon were victorious 3-0 in Cyprus over Zaia. **VIDEO**

CYPRIOT SOCCER (UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE): Both AEL and AEK had an easy time in the first round of Europa League qualifying as they advanced to the second round at the expense of Gibraltar sides St Joseph’s and Lincoln Red Imps, respectively. AEL will face Progres Niederkorn from Luxembourg, who defeated Scottish giants Rangers, while AEK will travel to Ireland to face Cork City, who prevailed over Levadia Tallinn.
