GREEK SOCCER CUP: The Greek Soccer Cup is re-starting! The ministry informed the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) that the cup could re-start after the cup was suspended for more than a month due to fan violence in the semi-final between PAOK and Olympiacos. No fans for the semi-finals and only students for the final.

GREEK SUPERLEAGUE: PAOK will face huge consequences for the fan violence and suspension of the Greek Cup semi-final against Olympiacos in March. EPO’s Disciplinary Committee has decided to punish PAOK with -5 points in the Greek SuperLeague, 5 games without fans (closed stadium), and a €112,000 fine. PAOK will appeal the decision in hopes of getting a “lighter” punishment.

The decision was made due to yesterday’s fan violence in the semi-final between PAOK and Olympiacos, which caused the game to be abandoned.
