GREEK SUPERLEAGUE: Panathinaikos and Marcus Berg have restarted negotiations for the Swede’s move to Al Ain.

GREEK SUPERLEAGUE: The Marcus Berg-Panathinaikos saga took a major and unsavoury turn on Tuesday as the Greens launched an appeal to FIFA for in response to an audacious move by the striker to appeal also to world football’s governing body to have his contract terminated. 

GREEK SUPERLEAGUE: Al Ain’s interest in Marcus Berg is no longer a rumor but the real deal, with the UAE club in negotiations with the Panathinaikos to acquire the Swede international. Berg told Panathinaikos president Yiannis Alafouzos that he wants to leave Panathinaikos and sign with Al Ain.
