100 wins for Greece at Eurobasket
Greece recorded their 100th all-time Eurobasket win after defeating Poland on Wednesday.
Wednesday was a historic day for Greek basketball as the national team recorded their 100th all-time win in the Eurobasket competition. The Episimi Agapimeni defeated Poland 95-77 in their final group fixture at Eurobasket 2017, securing a place in the knockout stages of the competition. In the last 16, Greece will face Group B winners, Lithuania, on Saturday.
Greece is the 6th most successful team in the history of Eurobasket having won 5 medals, two golds, two bronze, and one silver.
