The soccer world is in mourning after 26 year old Patrick Ekeng passed away today. Ekeng fell to the ground after suffering a heart attack during Dinamo Bucuresti's match against Vitorul. He later passed at a local hospital.
Unfortunately the soccer world mourns another lost life on the soccer pitch. Patrick Ekeng was a 26 year old footballer for Romanian side Dinamo Bucuresti. During today's match against Vitorul, the Cameroonian suffered a heart attack and fell to the ground, only 9 minutes after being subbed onto the pitch. He was then rushed to a local hospital where doctors attempted for 70 minutes to save his life. Unfortunately, Ekeng passed away late Friday night.
