Scottish club Hearts have signed two Greek players including Alexandros Tziolis and Tasos Avlonitis.
Alexandros Tziolis, who was a “foreign soul” at PAOK, broke his contract with the club earlier this week and has decided to continue his career in Scotland with Hearts. The Greece international signed as a free agent and will play at the club until the end of the year. He will look to strengthen the Scottish club's midfield as he looks re-find his form on the pitch and maintain his place on the Greek National Team.
Tasos Avlonitis will be teammates with Tziolis after signing a six month deal with Hearts earlier today. The former Olympiacos defender had offers from many clubs in Greece and Europe (Germany, England, Turkey, Austria, Sweden), but decided to sign with the Scottish club.
Hearts currently sit 4th in the Scottish Premiership well behind the leaders Celtic.
