Klonaridis...The First & Last Greek Scorer for Panathinaikos

Viktor Klonaridis became the first Greek to score for Panathinaikos this season after he found the back of the net on Wednesday against Kissamikos in a Cup fixture.

Viktor Klonaridis opened the scoring in Panathinaikos’ 0-4 win over Kissamikos in the Greek Cup on Wednesday, a goal that comes with a noteworthy statistic.

Klonaridis became the FIRST Greek player to score for Panathinaikos this season after 33 matches in all competitions. Up until then, 10 different non-Greek players had scored a total of 39 goals for the Prasini.

And that is not all...The last Greek player to score for Panathinaikos was...Klonaridis. The 24-year old found the back of the net in last year’s Greek Superleague playoffs against AEK at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium where Panathinaikos came away with a 3-0 victory. Klonaridis scored in the 90th minute to make it 3-0 for the hosts.
