AEK sign contract with Grant 

Jerai Grant, who recently left Strasbourg in France, has signed a contract with AEK until the completion of the 2019/2020 season.

On Friday afternoon, AEK released this following statement:

“AEK BC announces that today (27/12) an agreement with Jerai Grant (30 years of age, height 2.06) was signed. The contract runs until the end of the season.”

Initially, Grant began the current campaign with Strasbourg, but he left the French club earlier in the day.

In the Basketball Champions League, Grant averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 assists for Strasbourg, helping the team pick up four wins in Group A. AEK, playing in Group B, are participating in the same competition.

Grant, a power forward, previously represented the Sydney Kings, Enel Brindisi, Hapoel Holon, Ventspils, Neptunas Klaipeda, Orasi Ravenna Basket and Trotamundos de Carabobo in his professional career. The American was undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft.

AEK currently occupy first place of Group B of the Basketball Champions League with a 7-2 record. The Kitrinomavri are fourth in the Basket League with eight wins and four defeats in 12 matches.
