Fourteen points clear and counting. In what has been a near-flawless campaign, Olympiacos are over the hills and far away in first place of the Super League, with second-placed PAOK out of the running after they received a seven-point deduction and made a poor start to the calendar year. Originally, the playoffs and playouts were due to start in mid-March, but they were indefinitely postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic which is continuing to cause destruction across the world.

Unsurprisingly, Olympiacos boast the most valuable starting line-up of the domestic championship, with the highest value standing at 46 million euros from the first round against Asteras Tripolis. The Erythrolefki won that particular match 1-0 with Jose Sa, Leonardo Koutris, Pape Abou Cisse, Ruben Semedo, Omar Elabdellaoui, Mohamed Camara, Guilherme, Lazar Randjelovic, Daniel Podence, Hillal Soudani, and Youssef El Arabi included in the XI. Podence moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the winter transfer window for 19.6 million.

Interestingly, the Piraeus-based giants also possess the most expensive bench of the league, with their substitutes valued at a combined total of 31.8 million when Olympiacos claimed a slender 1-0 triumph at Atromitos on matchday 23. Bobby Allain, Camara, Cisse, Kostas Fortounis, Bruno Gaspar, Ahmed Hassan, and Maxi Lovera were all sitting on the Olympiacos bench when that particular game began.

As expected, PAOK, AEK, and Panathinaikos complete the leading four positions of both rankings, but in terms of the starting line-ups Olympiacos are in a somewhat distant first place.

All data is in accordance with numbers provided before the COVID-19 resulted in player values being decreased.
