The Football League announced its decision based on a report made by the Professional Sports Committee (EEA), which includes a “heavy case” of financial irregularities connected to share capital which breach league rules.
Aittitos Spata are expected to exercise their right to appeal the decision.
The EEA’s report was prompted by a protest from three other Football League clubs, Apollon Pontou, Doxa Dramas and Aiginiakos.
All of Aittitos Spata’s remaining fixtures have been cancelled, meaning that any team which was due to play them will be awarded a victory on paper.
Spata were 14th in the standings with 22 points from 22 matches played.
