NBA Draft hopeful Kostas Antetokounmpo will look to improve his draft stock when he takes part in the 2018 NBA Draft Combine later this month.
After declaring for the NBA Draft, Antetokounmpo has begun workouts for NBA clubs, most recently the Toronto Raptors, as the former University Of Dayton player looks to improve his stock in the draft after a turbulent season in college basketball.
Despite a strong start to the season with Dayton, Antetokounmpo struggled to see playing time later on in the season as Dayton head coach opted for a more experienced starting lineup to play the bulk of minutes.
Antetokounmpo will join 68 others players invited to the Draft Combine in hopes of improving his stock in the draft as Kostas hopes to follow in the footsteps of his older brothers, Giannis and Thanasis, and hear his name called at the Draft.
According to many reputable NBA scouts, Antetokounmpo has a long road ahead of him as current projections for the draft don’t forecast the 20-year-old will be drafted at the NBA Draft on 21 June.
The NBA Draft Combine is the first step in the Draft process for NBA hopefuls and features five-on-five games as well as strength and agility drills at Chicago’s Quest Multisport on Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18 with ESPN 2 in the USA providing coverage both days (starting from 15:00 EST).
