PLATANIAS 0-1 APOLLON SMYRNIS

Apollon Smyrnis are continuing to lead the Super League 2 with confidence. Last week, they were held to a draw by Doxa in Rizoupoli, but they got back to winning ways today with an important 1-0 victory at second-placed Platanias. Marko Markovski scored the only goal in the 59th minute as his header at point blank range was adjudged to have crossed the line.

Not long later, Platanias thought they had equalised when a free kick was headed in, but the flag was raised for offside.

Apollon Smyrnis remain in first position with 13 points from five games, while Platanias sit in second with 10 points on the board.

ERGOTELIS 4-2 AE KARAISKAKIS

The Cretans are beginning to role. On the back of their win against Kerkyra, Ergotelis subsequently made it two victories on the spin in Heraklion, comprehensively defeating Karaiskakis 4-2.

Giannis Boutsakis, Konstantinos Provydakis and Charles Kwateng gave Ergotelis a three-goal lead. After that, Zisis Chatzistravos and Stergios Psianos got Karaiskakis on the board, but Joshua Efford rounded off proceedings with a fourth for Ergotelis.

Ergotelis and Karaiskakis both now have seven points.

AOK KERKYRA 0-2 FC CHANIA

Kerkyra cannot get out of their slump. On Sunday, Kerkyra suffered their fifth defeat in as many Super League 2 games, meaning they remain in the bottom two with -3 points as a result of a punishment issued by the Hellenic Football Federation.

Christos Tzioras and Nikos Kouskounas netted the two goals for Chania who picked up their first win since matchday one. Chania occupy fifth place with seven points.

LEVADIAKOS 2-0 APOLLON LARISSA

Initially, Levadiakos started the campaign with two successive defeats, but they are now unbeaten in three after their hard-fought 2-0 home win against Apollon Larissa.

Young striker Fotis Ioannidis, who helped Greece U21 defeat Scotland in Edinburgh on Friday, was back in Levadeia for this game and opened the scoring in the 43rd minute. Chrysovalantis Kozoronis completed the victory in stoppage time.

Levadiakos are in sixth with seven points. Apollon Larissa, on the other hand, languish in 10th with five points to their name.
