Fourth round action in the Greek Cup continued on Wednesday with three fixtures as Ialisos hosted Kerkyra, Aetos Orfani hosted Apollon Larissa, and Aspropyrgos hosted PAS Giannina.
PAS Giannina were 0-2 winners over Aspropyrgos as two first half goals from Naumets (18) and Pamlidis (37) was enough for the Epirotes to claim victory.
Also from the Super League 2, Apollon Larissa prevailed with a narrow 0-1 scoreline over Aetos Orfani to book their place in the fifth round of the Cup. Balotelli’s marker on 31 minutes separated the sides at the final whistle, despite Apollon Larissa playing with 10 men in the final 15 minutes (Nazim red carded).
Ialisos became the fifth team from the Football League to book their ticket to the fifth round after upsetting Kerkyra from the Super League 2. The game’s only goal came in the 38th minute through Avgenikou.
Aiolikos defeated Korinthos 2-0 in a makeup match from the second round. Aiolikos will now play Niki Volou in the third round and the winner will match up against Apollon Smyrnis in the fourth round. The final ticket to the fifth round will be contested by Olympiacos Volou and Apollon Pontou.
