Costa Rica friendly confirmed for USA tour
The senior Greek national team will face Costa Rica on American soil in March, the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) has confirmed.

On Friday, the EPO released this following statement:
“Costa Rica is the first opponent for our national team during the 2020 US Tour, which will be held in late March as a part of the preparations for the UEFA Nations League. The match will take place on March 26th at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey. The game will begin at 20:00.”
Greece will then face Mexico three days later in Arlington.
At the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Greece fell in a dramatic penalty shootout to Costa Rica in the Last 16 stage of the competition, with the match having finished level at 1-1 after 120 minutes of play.
FIFA/UEFA MEETING SCHEDULED IN ATHENS
In addition, it was confirmed that Evangelos Grammenos, the EPO supremo, will host a meeting with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin in Athens on Monday 24 February. Ceferin will be accompanied by UEFA Director of National Federations, Zoran Lakovic.
Greg Clark, the vice-president of FIFA, will also attend alongside FIFA Member Associations Director, Emily Shaw. The parties will discuss the current state of Greek football.
