Oregon Ducks star Tyler Dorsey will leave college basketball and enter his name in the 2017 NBA Draft after making the announcement via Twitter. The Greek-American had a tremendous season with Oregon, leading his team to the NCAA Final-4 while finishing as the tournament's highest scorer.

According to Jonathan Givony from DraftExpress, if Dorsey is not selected in the draft Olympiacos will serve as a great back-up plan for the 21-year old. According to Givony, Dorsey was offered a big contract last season by the Erythrolefki and could very well join the Greek Champions if the NBA does not work out.

Dorsey is a Greek-American with dual citizenship (United States and Greece) and a Greek passport, due to his mother's Greek background. Dorsey's mother was born to a Greek father and Israeli mother.

Dorsey was called up to the Greek National Basketball Team last year, but did not make the final 12-man roster for the Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament. He is looked at as one of the future stars of the National Team.
