Doxa Drama and Panachaiki played to a 1-1 draw in Macedonia in the opening fixture of matchday five in the Super League 2.

Panachaikis fought back from a goal down in Drama to register a point in a 1-1 draw against Doxa Drama. The hosts opened the scoring as early as the fourth minute with Panachaiki’s Rougalas heading into his own net. Doxa Drama came close to a second goal in the 13th minute, but Markopouliotis’ header from a corner was stopped by the crossbar.
The visitors pressed for the equalizer and came close through Moraitis in the 36th minute, but it was Coll who found the leveler nine minutes after the restart with a great strike. Matters turned worse for the hosts when Kapsalis was sent off with a second yellow card in the 77th minute, but Panachaiki failed to capitalize with the extra man as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The result keeps Panachaiki’s undefeated record in tact as they sit in third place with nine points while the Macedonia team are sixth with six points.
