This is the result of the draw for the semi-final stage of the 2019/2020 Greek Cup:

Promitheas - Peristeri

Diagoras Dryopideon - AEK

The two semi-finals will take place on February 12, before the final is held four days later on neutral territory in Heraklion, Crete.

Diagoras Dyopideon are the only remaining representatives of the Second Division. In previous rounds of the competition, Diagoras shocked Basket League clubs Panionios (93-72), Larisa (95-75) and PAOK (81-66) respectively to reach the last four. Nevertheless, they will need to conjure up a special performance to beat AEK, who previously won the tournament in 2018. AEK had beaten the Rethymno Cretan Kings (71-61) in the quarter-final phase.

Promitheas will go into their battle against Peristeri as slight favourites, especially given that the Patras outfit famously defeated Panathinaikos 81-79 at home in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Peristeri, for their part, dispatched Ifaistos Limnou by a score of 57-51.

Panathinaikos won the 2018/2019 Greek Cup earlier this year.
