AEK released this following statement on Saturday afternoon:

“AEK FC announces the signing of Bright Enobakhare. The 22-year-old Nigerian forward has signed a contract with our team until the summer of 2023.”

Enobakhare joins AEK as a free agent following his departure from Wolverhampton Wanderers in May.

“It’s a great move, I am happy to be here,” stated Enobakhare when speaking to AEK after penning his contract. “To be honest, I’ve just been going on the internet to search, looking at YouTube to see how the team plays. I think that AEK suit my game. I don’t want to say too much, let my performances on the pitch speak for me.”

Enobakhare signed for Wolves ahead of the 2015/2016 season. During his debut campaign for the English outfit, the forward participated in 19 senior games across all competitions, scoring two goals. He was subsequently sent out on loan to Kilmarnock, Coventry City and Wigan Athletic, failing to convince the Wolves management of his capabilities.
