The Milwaukee Bucks find themselves in an early deficit in their playoff series with the Boston Celtics after a 113-107 overtime loss at the TD Garden in Boston on Sunday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with a 35-point, 13-rebound double-double, but the Bucks couldn’t get the job done in game one despite leading for long stretches.

In fact, the Bucks conceded their lead in the second half before falling behind by double digits as the game reached its climax. A Celtics surge late in the game threatened to decide the game before the final buzzer, but a fightback from the Bucks forced overtime as Khris Middleton knocked down a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime.

Boston began the extra period as the better of the two teams, though there was hope for the Bucks who fired back through the Greek Freak.

A questionable call late in the overtime period seemingly decided the game, however, as Antetokounmpo was booked for his sixth foul in the game; prompting Antetokounmpo to show his frustrations on the court before sitting out the remaining 13 seconds in the overtime period.

Despite the loss, the Bucks have a platform to build on when the two teams meet for game two of the series in Boston on Tuesday night.
