Until Thursday, there had been no official statement concerning the second legs of the Greek Cup semi-finals, with the matches having been planned for the 22nd and 23rd of April. However, with no sporting facilities allowed to open until at least April 27, the EPO has now formally postponed the games until further notice. Olympiacos were due to host PAOK in Piraeus and Aris had been scheduled to face AEK at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium.

The inevitable decision to indefinitely postpone the matches was made during a video conference of the EPO Executive Committee.

The final of the competition, which had been set to take place on May 23 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, will be formally postponed in the next conference call.

In the first games of the semi-finals, PAOK defeated Olympiacos 3-2 at the Toumba Stadium in a thriller, while AEK claimed a slender 2-1 advantage against 10-man Aris in the Greek capital. PAOK and AEK have met in the last three successive Greek Cup finals, with the Dikefalos tou Vorra winning all of them.
