In Austria, Taxiarchis Fountas is continuing to shine for Rapid Vienna, as he scored another important goal in the Bundesliga with his team drawing 2-2 at Wolfsburger. Elsewhere, right-back Stavros Vasilantonopoulos grabbed his first goal in Poland for Gornik Zabrze, while Marios Ogboe (Hamilton), Dimitris Diamantakos (St. Pauli) and James Efmorfidis (Almere City) also registered markers for their respective clubs.

MAIN MEN (Comprised of current/former national team players):

Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Arsenal/English Premier League): Received a yellow card while playing 90 minutes of a 1-0 home victory against West Ham United.

Jose Cholevas (Watford/English Premier League): Missed a 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.

Panagiotis Retsos (Sheffield United/English Premier League): Sat on the bench with his team defeated Norwich City 1-0 at home.

Sebastian Vasiliadis (Paderborn/German Bundesliga): Played the entire 90 minutes of a 2-1 defeat against Cologne at home.

Konstantinos Stafylidis (Hoffenheim/German Bundesliga): Did not participate in a 1-1 draw at Schalke 04.

Stefanos Kapino (Werder Bremen/German Bundesliga): At the weekend, he made his maiden Bundesliga appearance in the current campaign, conceding two goals in a 2-2 tie with Hertha in Berlin.

Vasilis Lampropoulos (Bochum/German Bundesliga 2): Received a yellow card while playing 90 minutes of a 0-0 draw at Darmstadt.

Kostas Manolas (Napoli/Serie A): No game for Napoli this weekend.

Orestis Karnezis (Napoli/Serie A): Napoli did not play in Serie A.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis (Lecce/Serie A): The match for Lecce this weekend was postponed.

Charalampos Lykogiannis (Cagliari/Serie A): Cagliari did not have a game.

Odisseas Vlachodimos (Benfica/Portuguese Primeira Liga): The goalkeeper conceded one goal as Benfica were held to a 1-1 draw by Setubal on the road.

Andreas Samaris (Benfica/Portuguese Primeira Liga): Received a yellow card in the match against Setubal before being substituted in the 72nd minute of play.

Dimitris Siovas (Leganes/La Liga): Included in the starting line-up to play against Villarreal away from home and was removed with 22 minutes remaining on the clock.

Efthymis Koulouris (Toulouse/Ligue 1): Provided an assist for the only Toulouse goal as his team suffered another defeat, this time by a score of 2-1 at Dijon.

Anastasios Donis (Reims/Ligue 1): Did not play any part in a 1-0 victory against Brest at home.

Konstantinos Mitroglou (PSV Eindhoven/Eredivisie): Used as a substitute with seven minutes remaining of a 1-0 win at Groningen.

Marios Vrousai (Willem II/Eredivisie): Emerged from the bench in the 80th minute of a 1-0 defeat against Feyenoord on the road.

Vangelis Pavlidis (Willem II/Eredivisie): Played the entirety of the same game.

Tasos Bakasetas (Alanyaspor/Turkish Super Lig): Started a 1-1 draw at Rizespor and was substituted in the 73rd minute of proceedings.

Manolis Siopis (Alanyaspor/Turkish Super Lig): Missed the match against Rizespor.

Georgios Tzavellas (Alanyaspor/Turkish Super Lig): Played 90 minutes with the game with Rizespor ending level at 1-1.

Carlos Zeca (Copenhagen/Danish Superliga): Stayed on the pitch for the entire match as Copenhagen were beaten 1-0 by Horsens in the capital of Denmark.

Panagiotis Kone (Western United/A-League): Did not participate in a comfortable 5-1 beating of Adelaide United away from home.

GERMANY

Konstantinos Mavropanos (Nuremberg/German Bundesliga 2): The injured defender missed a 3-0 home defeat to Hannover 96.

Dimitris Diamantakos (St. Pauli/German Bundesliga 2): Scored his team’s second goal in a 2-2 draw with Sandhausen. Played 90 minutes.

Ioannis Gelios (Holstein Kiel/German Bundesliga 2): Conceded one goal as his club played to a 1-1 draw against Greuther Furth.

Stelios Kokovas (VfL Bochum/German Bundesliga 2): Missed the 0-0 tie at Darmstadt.

Panagiotis Vlachodimos (Grossaspach/3. Liga): Played 90 minutes of a 2-0 defeat against Bayern Munich II on the road.

NETHERLANDS

Konstantinos Lamprou (Vitesse/Eredivisie): Watched his team defeat Twente from the comfort of the substitutes’ bench.

Giorgos Strezos (Willem II/Eredivisie): Remained on the bench with Willem II being beaten 2-0 by Feyenoord away from home.

Lazaros Rota (Fortuna Sittard/Eredivisie): Played 90 minutes of a 1-1 draw with Zwolle at home.

Giannis Mystakidis (De Graafschap/Eerste Divisie): Substituted in the 71st minute of a 2-1 triumph at Go Ahead Eagles.

James Efmorfidis (Almere City/Eerste Divisie): Scored the winning goal at Den Bosch and was substituted in the 88th minute.

BELGIUM

Stergos Marinos (Charleroi/Jupiler League): Did not participate in a 4-1 victory at Gent.

Nikos Kenourgios (Zulte Waregem/Jupiler League): Remained on the bench with Zulte Waregem receiving a large 7-0 humbling at the hands of Anderlecht.

Dimitris Chatziisaias (Cercle Brugge/Jupiler League): Played 90 minutes with his team losing 2-1 to Club Brugge.

ITALY

Giorgos Kyriakopoulos (Sassuolo/Serie A): Kept on the bench as Sassuolo eased to a routine 3-0 victory against Brescia at home.

Dimitris Nikolaou (Empoli/Serie B): Substituted in the 56th minute of a 1-1 draw against Trapani after initially being included in the starting line-up.

POLAND

Konstantinos Triantafyllopoulos (Pogon/Ekstraklasa): Didn’t play in a 0-0 draw with Rakow away from home.

Michalis Manias (Pogon/Ekstraklasa): Used as a substitute in the 89th minute of the same game.

Stavros Vasilantonopoulos (Gornik Zabrze/Ekstraklasa): On his debut after joining on loan from AEK, the right-back scored as his club managed to beat Cracovia 3-2 at home. Played 90 minutes.

Giorgos Giakoumakis (Gornik Zabrze/Ekstraklasa): The forward, a fellow AEK loanee, was used as a substitute in the 56th minute of the victory against Cracovia.

DENMARK

Theofanis Mavrommatis (SonderjyskE/Danish Superliga): Substituted in the 60th minute of a 1-1 home draw with Odense.

PORTUGAL

Alexandros Voilis (Casa Pia/Liga Pro): Played the entire 90 minutes of a 1-0 loss to Academico de Viseu away from home.

TURKEY

Stelios Kitsiou (Ankaragucu/Turkish Super Lig): Stayed on the pitch for the entire game with Ankaragucu conceding a 2-1 loss to Besiktas on the road.

Andreas Tatos (Altay/Turkish First League): Booked by the referee during a 2-1 beating of Hatayspor and was replaced in the 67th minute.

SCOTLAND

Marios Ogboe (Hamilton/Scottish Premiership): Scored the winning goal with a penalty in the 90th minute to fire his team to a 1-0 triumph over Kilmarnock. Played the full match.

SPAIN

Nikos Vergos (Hercules/Segunda B): Received a yellow card and was substituted in a 0-0 draw against Ebro.

SWITZERLAND

Konstantinos Dimitriou (FC Wil/Swiss Challenge League): No match for FC Wil this week.

BULGARIA

Antonis Stergiakis (Slavia Sofia/Parva Liga): Conceded one goal as Slavia Sofia managed to defeat Botev Plovdiv 2-1 in the capital.

Giannis Kargas (Levski Sofia/Parva Liga): Played 90 minutes of a 0-0 draw at Botev Vratsa.

Dimitris Chantakias (Cherno More/Parva Liga): Stayed on the bench with Cherno More beating Tsarsko Selo 1-0 at home.

HUNGARY

Theodoros Berios (Kisvarda/OTP Bank Liga): Given 90 minutes on the pitch with Kisvarda conceding a 1-0 loss to Debrecen.

Stavros Tsoukalas (Kisvarda/OTP Bank Liga): Missed the same match.

SLOVAKIA

Dimitris Konstantinidis (Michalovce/Fortuna Liga): Played 90 minutes of the 1-0 home win against Pohronie.

Christos Kountouriotis (Michalovce/Fortuna Liga): Used as a substitute in the 69th minute of the same match.

Giorgos Neofytidis (Michalovce/Fortuna Liga): Emerged from the bench with 18 minutes left of the 1-0 victory over Pohronie at home.
