AEK confirmed that they have agreed to a €200,000 deal (plus bonuses) with Lens for Viktor Klonaridis’ move to the Kitrinomavri. The 25-year old is expected to arrive in Athens on Wednesday to discuss any final details with AEK and he will sign a new contract with annual earnings of €200,000. Klonaridis will be making a return to the first professional club of his career where he remained from 2010-2012 before signing with French side Lille.

A reminder that Klonaridis played the second half of the season on loan at Panathinaikos from Lens and was rumored to sign a permanent with the Prasini. However, Panathinaikos’ negotiations with Lens fell through and AEK quickly acted to bring the player back to the Enosis.

Marko Livaja is also close to a move to Athens for AEK on a loan deal from Las Palmas. The two clubs have already come to an agreement and Livaja’s OK is all that remains for the deal to be completed. If all goes well, Livaja will arrive in Athens on Friday to sign his loan deal with the club.

Both players will join the team in Poland for pre-season training once their deals are finalized and made official.

Georgios Giakoumakis signed his new deal with AEK after a great spell at Platanias. The player and the two clubs agreed to Giakoumakis' move to AEK earlier in the season and the 22-year old striker put pen to paper to a 4+1 year deal. The promising youngster will be one of three strikers in AEK's roster for the new season.

Finally, AEK announced the departures of both Dimitris Kolovetsios and Roland Vargas whose contracts ended this season. The club thanked them for their contributions to the club and wished them all the best in their career.
