In a rather dull game, Levadiakos prevailed over Platanias with a narrow 1-0 victory in the concluding fixture of matchday 12 on Monday evening in the Super League 2. The hosts netted the game’s only goal just before the quarter-hour mark when N’Nomo bypassed the Platanias defense and goalkeeper before slotting the ball into the back of the net. Levadiakos scored in first-half stoppage time, but the goal was called back by the officials.
After the restart, the pace of the game drastically fell, with both sides failing to create a goal-scoring chance in the second half. Levadiakos held onto their 1-0 lead through the final whistle and added a valuable three points to their tally.
The Livadia side now sit in fourth place, along with Apollon Larissa, on 20 points, just three points behind second-placed Apollon Smyrni. Platanias, on the other hand, dropped down to seventh along with Cretan rivals Chania on 17 points.
