In light of the club’s success over the past year, manager Razvan Lucescu sat down with PAOK owner Ivan Savvidis and extended his contract through to the completion of the 2019/2020 season. The Thessaloniki organisation revealed the news with this following statement on their official website:

“PAOK FC announces the extension of Razvan Lucescu’s contract until 30.06.2020.

The coach of the team signed the deal in a meeting with club president Ivan Savvidis.

We wish him even more success and titles in the coming years!”

Since being appointed PAOK boss in August 2017, Lucescu has become a popular figure in Thessaloniki, leading the club to Greek Cup glory and coming within a whisker of claiming the Super League title. Overall, the 49-year old Romanian has managed 47 PAOK matches, winning 37, drawing six and losing four.
