Manolas likely to renew contract with Roma
Despite the interest of many European clubs in Kostas Manolas, the Greek defender is expected to renew his contract with Roma.

After stating in an interview that he has every intention of remaining at Roma for the new season, Manolas is expected to renew his contract with the Italian club. According to “Sky Sport Italia,” Roma will offer Manolas a 4-year contract (until 2021) with a substantial pay raise and annual earnings of €2.5 Million, an increase from his current €1.7 Million yearly salary.
The club’s technical director met with Manolas and expressed his desire to keep the Greek defender in Rome for many seasons. Manolas has also stated that he wants to remain with Roma and the two sides are likely to reach an agreement, officially laying to rest any rumors of his transfer to another club.
