Manolas named to FIFA 20 Team of the Week
Napoli’s Kostas Manolas has been named to the latest FIFA 20 Team of the Week while PAOK’s Dimitris Pelkas earned a Man of the Match item following his Greek Cup heroics midweek.

After scoring in his side’s 2-1 defeat of Torino last weekend, Napoli defender Kostas Manolas has been named to the latest FIFA 20 Team of the Week (TOTW) for the popular game mode FIFA Ultimate Team.
Manolas has been carrying the load for the Napoli defense following the recent injury to usual center-back partner Kalidou Koulibaly. A strong showing against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League last week ensured Napoli remain very much alive in their Round of 16 tie against the Catalan giants.
But Manolas’ heroics for Napoli didn’t end there, in fact he had quite the impact at the other end of the pitch just days later as he opened the scoring against Torino with a powerful header off a free-kick from Lorenzo Insigne.
Manolas’ inclusion in the latest TOTW means the Greek international receives an in-game rating boost to 86 overall in the form of a special card. Manolas remains the highest-rated Greek footballer in the game, narrowly ahead of Odisseas Vlachodimos (85 OVR) and Sokratis Papastathopoulos (84 OVR).
Bayern Munich’s Philippe Coutinho, Real Madrid’s Dani Carvajal, and Atletico de Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez were also included in the latest edition of the TOTW.
PELKAS SCORES BRACE, BAGS FIFA 20 MOTM NOD
Dimitris Pelkas’ midweek heroics in the Greek Cup didn’t go unnoticed at EA Sports after the Greek midfielder was rewarded with a FIFA 20 Man of the Match (MOTM) item for the game mode FIFA Ultimate Team.
Pelkas scored twice as PAOK erased an early two-goal deficit en route to a 3-2 win over Olympiacos in the first leg of the Greek Cup semifinal at the Toumba stadium on Wednesday.
Pelkas received a special MOTM item in-game which sees the Greek international’s in-game rating rise to 81 overall in the form of a commemorative card. Pelkas is the sixth Super League player to receive a commemorative card this season, joining the likes of Mathieu Valbuena, Youssef El Arabi (twice), Marko Livaja, Petros Mantalos, and Pape Abou Cisse to receive in-game boosts.
