Manolas scores in Napoli draw
Kostas Manolas scored a rare goal for Napoli during a 1-1 draw at Bologna in Serie A.

The commanding 29-year-old defender managed to get on the scoresheet for the first time since late February on Wednesday evening. With seven minutes on the clock, Manolas connected with an accurate corner from the left wing, sending the ball beyond the opposing goalkeeper with a powerful header. However, the goal wasn’t enough for Napoli to earn all three points on the road, as Bologna subsequently equalised in the 80th minute to salvage a 1-1 draw.
Manolas played the entirety of the match.
So far, Manolas has made 22 appearances in Serie A for Napoli since transferring to the club from AS Roma last year, contributing with three goals. Napoli currently occupy sixth position of the league standings with 53 points from 33 games.
