Olympiacos BC confirm Ellis signing from Promitheas
Octavius Ellis, who impressed with Promitheas, has signed a contract with Olympiacos until the end of the 2020/2021 season.

On Monday evening, Olympiacos released this following statement:
“Olympiacos BC announces the signing of a contract with Octavius Ellis for the next one and a half years. The American successfully passed his medical and competed in his first training session with our team on Monday.”
Ellis, 26, represented Promitheas for the first half of the 2019/2020 campaign, averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in the EuroCup. Last week, Ellis produced his best performance for the Patras-based organisation in the continental competition, scoring 29 points and achieving a 29 performance index rating as Promitheas lost against Venice at home.
In the past, the American center has also played for Mornar Bar and Yenisey as a professional basketball player.
