According to reports out of Piraeus, Olympiacos are close to completing the acquisition of Briante Weber on a free transfer from the NBA G League.
Weber, who has spent his entire career in the United States, is reportedly headed to Piraeus on a short-term deal through to the end of the 2018/2019 season.
After going undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft, Weber has spent the first four-and-a-half years of his career with several teams in both the NBA and the G League.
Reports indicate that Weber will join Olympiacos before the end of the week, just days after an impressive performance from the 26-year-old in which he tallied a double-double for his current team, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Weber, who has made 40 appearances in the NBA, has featured for the likes of the Memphis Grizzlies, the Miami Heat, the Golden State Warriors, the Charlotte Hornets, and most recently the Houston Rockets.
