The Piraeus-based organisation confirmed Soudani’s signing with this following statement:

“Hillal Soudani welcome to Olympiacos FC!”

Soudani, 31, shared his impressions from joining Olympiacos:

“I am happy to sign for the biggest team in Greece, Olympiacos. I can’t wait to start training with my new teammates at the training ground. I have heard that there is a very good atmosphere at the stadium here and I’m looking forward to playing in front of our fans.”

Reports in the media have stated that Soudani has penned a two-year deal with the Erythrolefki after transferring from Nottingham Forest, a club which is also owned by Olympiacos supremo, Evangelos Marinakis.

The Algerian international, who plays on the right wing and has scored an impressive 22 goals in 49 appearances for his country, joined Nottingham Forest last summer after a five-year stint at Dinamo Zagreb. This season, Soudani was restricted to a mere eight matches for Nottingham Forest across all competitions because of injury, scoring two goals in the Championship.

Soudani built up a reputation of a prolific scorer when playing with Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.

BRUNO ALSO SIGNS

An hour after unveiling Soudani, Olympiacos confirmed the arrival of Brazilian attacker Felipe Bruno from LASK Linz with this statement on their social media platforms:

“Felipe Bruno welcome to Olympiacos FC!”

During the 2018/2019 season, Bruno played on loan at Atromitos in the Super League, registering two goals and five assists in the championship as he attracted the attention of Olympiacos. Bruno was seen arriving at Athens International Airport on Sunday night, and if reports are to be believed, Olympiacos have agreed to pay LASK Linz around 400,000 euros to sign the Brazilian attacker.

The media have suggested that Bruno, 25, has penned a three-year contract with Olympiacos.
