Panaitolikos ended a barren run of four games without a win by beating Lamia 2-0 away from home on Saturday evening in their SuperLeague Matchday 19 clash.

Goals from Willyan da Silva Barbarosa and Admir Bajrovic after 25 and 71 minutes respectively secured an impressive three-point haul for Traianos Dellas side from Agrinio.

It’s Panaitolikos’ first win since a 2-1 away win over Aris before the Christmas break and will come as a relief to the club, who moved level on 26 points with sixth-placed Aris as a result.

Lamia remain unmoved in 10th place with 20 points, and they are eight points clear of the relegation places.
