Panathinaikos sign Xavier with three-year contract
Antonio Xavier has signed a three-year contract with Panathinaikos after leaving Tondela, the Athenians confirmed on Thursday afternoon.

Panathinaikos released this following statement:
“Panathinaikos FC announces the signing of Portuguese midfielder Antonio Xavier. The 28-year-old has agreed a three-year contract.”
Xavier has joined Panathinaikos as a free agent following the completion of his contract with Tondela in Portugal.
A winger by trade, Xavier is often used on the left flank, providing two assists and scoring one goal in the 2019/2020 Liga NOS for Tondela. In the past, he has also represented the likes of Guimarães, Braga, Marítimo and Pacos de Ferreira.
