Panathinaikos to face Panachaiki in Greek Cup
The draw for the fifth stage of the 2019/2020 Greek Cup took place on Wednesday, with Panathinaikos notably paired with Panachaiki.

This year, the format of the Greek Cup has been radically changed, with clubs which finished between first and fifth of the 2018/2019 Super League only joining the competition in the Round of 16. Teams placed between sixth and 14th join in the fifth round.
The draw for the fifth phase of the tournament was held on Wednesday afternoon at the Hellenic Football Federation’s offices, with Panathinaikos pitted against Super League 2 side Panachaiki. Panionios, who are currently in last place of the Super League, travel to Olympiacos Volos.

*Third-round match between Aiolikos and Niki Volos was played today with the former prevailing 1-0. They will play Apollon Smyrnis in the fourth round and the winner will then face Lamia in the fifth phase
All ties will be played over the course of two legs. The first matches will be held on October 29/30/31, before the returns are played in December. The Round of 16 will take place in January 2020.
