PAOK confirm Mihaj and Meliopoulos transfers
On Tuesday, PAOK confirmed the arrivals of both Enea Mihaj and Dimitris Meliopoulos, signing four-year contracts with the young pair.

PAOK first announced the arrival of Meliopoulos from Xanthi:
“PAOK FC announces the signing of Dimitris Meliopoulos from Xanthi. The young footballer has signed a contract for the next four years and will wear the number 14 on his jersey.”
Meliopoulos, who is most comfortable playing as a defensive midfielder, is highly rated in Greece after making an impression with Xanthi. In the 2018/2019 season, the talented 19-year-old played in 13 Super League games for Xanthi, and he is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Greek football. It remains to be seen if he will be able to compete for a place in the PAOK first team in the upcoming campaign.
He has played for the Greek national team at various youth levels.
MIHAJ ALSO SIGNS
Not long after Meliopoulos signed, PAOK also confirmed the acquisition of gifted defender Enea Mihaj from Panetolikos:
“PAOK FC announces the signing of Enea Mihaj from Panetolikos. The Albanian international centre-back has signed a contract until June 2023 and will wear the number 6 on his jersey.”
Mihaj, 20, has become a key player for Panetolikos in the past two years. Last season, Mihaj made 19 Super League appearances for the Agrinio club, and he has also participated in two matches for the senior Albanian national team after initially making his debut last September. He faces stiff competition from Jose Angel Crespo, Fernando Varela and Sverrir Ingi Ingason for a place in the PAOK defence.
