PAOK reveal 2019/2020 jerseys

PAOK have revealed all three jersey designs which will be used during the 2019/2020 campaign.

Since 2015, Macron has designed the PAOK kit, with the organisation continuing to stay true to the club’s main colours. As usual, the PAOK home jersey displays the familiar black and white stripes, while the away shirt is mainly black with grey features included. The third jersey is fully blue.

The reigning Super League and Greek Cup champions are set to begin the 2019/2020 season in early August with two matches against Ajax in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Yesterday, PAOK made the latest addition to their squad, signing Nigerian midfielder Anderson Esiti for 3.5 million euros from KAA Gent. Swedish defensive midfielder Pontus Wernbloom is also training with the main group again after a long-term injury.

CHATZIISAIAS JOINS RIZESPOR

Initially, defender Dimitris Chatziisaias began the pre-season with PAOK, but the 26-year-old has now officially joined Rizespor of the Turkish Super Lig on a permanent basis.

Rizespor confirmed his arrival with this statement:

“Caykur Rizespor has reached an agreement with Greek Super League club PAOK to sign Dimitrios Chatziisaias with a three-year contract.”

The centre-back had spent the past two years on loan at Atromitos. During the 2018/2019 season, Chatziisaias made 35 appearances across all competitions for the Peristeri club, contributing with three assists in the Super League. Transfermarkt rates his value at 1.5 million.
