PAOK’s culture within the under 19 setup has been incredible, with the youngsters refusing to lose a league match in over two years. PAOK’s victory over Xanthi on December 7 in the U19 Super League secured their two-year unbeaten status as the team last tasted on December 10, 2017, in a matchday 14 home clash to Panathinaikos.

Following their 1-0 defeat to rivals Panathinaikos, the club from Thessaloniki finished the 2017/18 campaign with 15 victories and a draw in their final 16 matches to claim the championship. PAOK finished on 76 points, five ahead of second-placed Panathinaikos on 71 points. Overall, PAOK recorded 24 wins, four draws, and two losses, while also scoring 75 goals and only conceding 14 goals.

Last season, PAOK’s U19s side won back-to-back league titles as well as finishing the campaign without tasting a defeat, similar to the senior team. They claimed the U19 Super League title with seven matches to spare, finishing with 86 points and a 22-point margin over runners-up AEK. It was the highest point difference between first and second place ever recorded in the U19 Super League.

This season, the PAOK U19s currently sit on top of the U19 Super League table with a total of 36 points with 11 wins and three draws from their opening 14 games. Since PAOK’s loss to Panathinaikos in December of 2017, PAOK’s youngsters have gone on a remarkable 60-game unbeaten run, which includes 54 wins and six draws. The senior side are currently also on an impressive unbeaten run of 49 league games with their eyes on the ultimate record set by Olympiacos at 58 games.
