PAS GIANNINA 5-1 APOLLON SMYRNIS

In a meeting between the top two sides, PAS Giannina proved far too strong for Apollon Smyrnis in Ioannina, coasting to a routine 5-1 triumph.

Epaminondas Pantelakis, Apostolos Skondras and Giorgos Pamlidis all scored in the first half of proceedings, in turn ending the match as a contest. At the start of the second stanza, Fatjon Andoni got the visitors on the board from the penalty spot, but PAS subsequently registered two more goals through Sandi Krizman and Leo Jean-Baptiste.

PAS now boast a commanding seven-point lead over Apollon Smyrnis in first position.

DOXA DRAMA 1-0 PLATANIAS

Doxa moved above Platanias into eight place of the Super League 2 table with a 1-0 triumph in Drama.

In the 47th minute of play, Christos Rovas scored the only goal of the game, a marker which was enough to earn all three points for the home team.

This is Doxa’s second successive victory after defeating Panachaiki 1-0 in Patras last week. Platanias, for their part, have now lost two on the spin.

FC CHANIA 5-1 AE KARAISKAKIS

Chania ran riot over Karaiskakis at home.

In the opening set of 45 minutes, Chania put the match to bed, tallying three goals with Paschalakis Kassos scoring twice and Nikos Kouskounas hitting the back of the net. During the second half, Christos Gromitsaris and Evripidis Giakos - with a penalty - scored, while Leonidas Kyvelidis netted a consolation for Karaiskakis.

Chania are third in the standings with 31 points from 17 games. Karaiskakis are three points behind in fifth position.
