Pavlidis helps Willem II defeat Heerenveen
Vangelis Pavlidis hit the target on Friday evening as Willem II defeated Heerenveen 2-1 on the road in the Eredivisie.

It was a wonderful goal too. In the ninth minute of play, Pavlidis brilliantly controlled the ball, beat his opponent with a brilliant piece of skill and subsequently curled his ensuing shot into the left corner to make it 1-0 in Willem II’s favour.
Willem II went on to win the match 2-1.
International striker Pavlidis, 21, has now scored an impressive nine goals in the 2019/2020 Eredivisie for Willem II. Pavlidis played the full game against Heerenveen, while Marios Vrousai was introduced as a substitute in the 83rd minute.
Willem II currently occupy third place of the standings with 32 points from 17 matches.
