In the first half, Olympiacos outscored their opponents 50-40 as they attempted to gain more momentum after defeating Khimki in dramatic circumstances on Wednesday, but the Greeks subsequently succumbed to Red Star in the remaining 20 minutes.

As a result of this defeat, Olympiacos slip to 11th place in the EuroLeague regular season standings with six wins and nine losses, while Red Star are 13th with the same record.

Nikola Milutinov, who is enjoying a superb campaign for the Piraeus-based club, achieved another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Paul (21 points) and Giorgos Printezis (14 points) also impressed.

Lorenzo Brown, however, was the star of the show with a huge 34 points.

Next week, Red Star travel to Zenit Saint Petersburg, while Olympiacos make the trip to Barcelona.

THE MATCH

Olympiacos, full of confidence after slaying Khimki earlier this week, made a great start with a five-point win in the second.

On the front foot, the Erythrolefki extended their advantage to 10 in the second quarter, scoring an impressive 29 points in the second frame in Belgrade.

However, it all started to go wrong in the third quarter, and Olympiacos required a last-gasp stunning three-pointer from Taylor Rochestie just to get on level terms again:
