History was made during the midweek action in the Greek Basket League as Promitheas’ Makis Giatras became the youngest player to score in the league’s history. The youngster, who comes from Promitheas’ academies, was subbed on the court in the final minutes of Promitheas’ game against Panionios and did not give up his opportunity to write his name into the Basket League’s history books.

The youngster at the age of 14-year, 7-months, and 6-days converted from the free throw line in the final moments of the game to become the youngest player to ever score in the Greek First division. In addition, he became the second youngest player to make an appearance in the Greek Basket League behind Georgios Papagiannis. The former Sacramento Kings player continues to hold this record at the age of 14-years, 6-months, and 2-days when he appeared for Peristeri.
