Round 15 of Super League to take place between January 12-14
The 15th round of the 2018/2019 Super League, which was originally due to take place in December, will now be held between January 12-14, 2019.

Originally, matchday 15 of the current Super League campaign was scheduled for late December, however it was postponed when referees refused to take charge of matches after the disgraceful attack on Athanasios Tzilos in Larissa. There was confusion as to when the games would be held, but after a Super League Board of Directors meeting on Friday, it’s been decided that the 15th round of the 2018/2019 Super League will now be played on the 12th, 13th and 14th of January 2019.
As a result, the 16th round, which was planned for those exact dates, will now be played a week later.
All 16 Super League clubs voted either for or against the decision, with an overwhelming majority of 13-3 in favour of playing the 15th round between January 12-14. The three clubs against the proposal were Olympiacos, Aris and Panionios, and the former’s disapproval of the decision can be understood. With Olympiacos competing in the UEFA Europa League Round of 32 against Dynamo Kyiv (February 14 home, February 21 away), the Piraeus club will have a large fixture pile-up with key matches with PAOK in Thessaloniki (February 17) and AEK at the Karaiskakis Stadium (February 24) approaching in a short space of time.
The Super League organisation revealed the news with this following statement:
“At today’s Super League Board of Directors meeting, it was decided, among other issues, that the postponed 15th round of the Souroti Super League will take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of January. Subsequent rounds have been put back a week.”
