Manolis Siopis is traveling to Turkey to sign a deal with Turkish side Alanyaspor. The Greek international has agreed to pen a three-year contract will total earnings of 2.1 million euros.

The two clubs came to an agreement on Saturday morning after a two-week negotiation process. With Siopis expressing his desire to move to Alanyaspor and the club agreeing to activate the 500,000 euro buy-out clause in his current contract, Aris were left no choice but to give the green light on Siopis’ transfer. Olympiacos, who hold a 30% resale fee for Siopis, will also benefit from the transfer.

Siopis joined Aris last summer after a move from the Piraeus giants. He has also enjoyed stints at Platanias and Panionios.

Alanyaspor is home to two other Greek players, Tasos Bakasetas and Georgios Tzavellas with the former recently joining the club following a move from AEK.
