Yevhen Shakhov (2), Diego Biseswar, Fernando Varela and Karol Swiderski hit the target inside a sold-out Toumba Stadium to seal an emphatic 5:0 victory against relegated Levadiakos, and PAOK are now within one match of becoming the second Greek club in history to win the domestic championship without losing a single game.

Nearest challengers Olympiacos are now resigned to second position, but the Erythrolefki performed well at eighth-placed Lamia, claiming a 3:1 victory with goals from Mohamed Camara, Kostas Fortounis and Ahmed Hassan. In Athens, AEK had a chance to wrap up third spot, but they contrived to drop a shock 0:1 loss to AEL as Slavko Bralic bundled in the only goal. Larissa have officially confirmed their place in the 2019/2020 Super League.

Atromitos haven’t given up hope of finishing third. Hosting Panathinaikos, the Peristeri outfit gave an excellent performance, emerging victorious 2:0 as Felipe Bruno and the prolific Efthymis Koulouris struck gold. The difference between AEK and Atromitos now stands at a mere two points. For their part, struggling Panathinaikos have dropped to a lowly 10th place of the table.

Ioannina club PAS are close to falling through the trap door. Following a bitter 1:2 loss to Panionios in Nea Smyrni, PAS Giannina now trail OFI by two points, and they host newly crowned champions PAOK on matchday 30. Panionios, who have made a large improvement, now occupy sixth.

Over in Heraklion, OFI had the opportunity to climb to 12th, but they were held by Asteras Tripolis in a tense, exciting 1:1 draw. Xanthi booked their ticket for the 2019/2020 Super League with a comfortable 2:0 triumph over basement club Apollon Smyrnis, while Aris got back to winning ways in a 2:1 victory against Traianos Dellas’ Panetolikos. Aris sit in fifth place and Panetolikos have fallen to seventh.
