Fenerbahce defeated Zalgiris 82:99 in game four of the EuroLeague playoffs and won the series 3-1 to secure a place in the FInal-4 for a fifth consecutive season. Fenerbahce are the second team to qualify for the Final-4 and will await Anadolu Efes or Barcelona (Efes lead the series 2-1). Panathinaikos were the only Greek team to qualify for the 2019 Playoffs, but were eliminated at the hands of Real Madrid after being swept 3-0 in their respective series.

Greek international, Kostas Sloukas, was the star yet again for the Turkish side as he finished the game with a double-double, 25 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Sloukas has qualified for seven Final-4s in his career, with all seven appearances coming in the last eight seasons!

He represented Olympiacos in three Final-4s in 2012, 2013, 2015, where he won back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013. This will be his fourth Final-4 appearance with Fenerbahce (2016, 2017, 2018) and will hope to add a fourth EuroLeague title to his collection, after winning his third EuroLeague in 2017, ironically against his former side, Olympiacos.

Sloukas was also part of Olympiacos in 2009 and 2010, when the Reds advanced to back-to-back EuroLeague Final-4s, but he did not make appearance in either season.

Former Panathinaikos and current Fenerbahce coach, Zeljko Obradovic, will be making his 18th appearance (!) in the EuroLeague Final-4 seeking his 10th title. Five of those titles, 2000, 2002, 2007, 2009, and 2011 came while he coached the Trifylli.
