It took five games into the season for Thanasis Antetokounmpo to finally make his regular season debut for the Milwaukee Bucks, but the Greek international made sure it was worth the wait on Friday night.

Checking in for his younger brother Giannis with 6:27 left in the contest, Thanasis got a massive ovation from the home crowd as he hit the court in first NBA regular season game in nearly four years.

With the Bucks holding a commanding 106-78, Thanasis and his teammates on the court were seemingly responsible to see the game out as the Bucks looked to improve to 3-2 on the season.

After missing his first shot, Thanasis managed to snag a rebound and assists before he brought the Milwaukee to their feet once more with a posterizing dunk over Orlando’s Wes Iwundu who took exception to Thanasis’ post-dunk hype.

Despite being whistled for a technical foul for the exchange with Iwundu, there was nothing that would steal this moment for the Antetokounmpo family -- the significance of which was highlighted by Giannis’ antics on the sidelines following Thanasis first-ever points as a member of the Bucks.

Thanasis finished the night with 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist as the oldest Antetokounmpo brother took another step towards endearing himself to the Bucks faithful.

The Bucks would eventually close-out the game with a whopping 32-point advantage as the 123-91 defeat of Orlando sees the Bucks improve to 3-2 on the season ahead of a visit from the reigning NBA Champion Toronto Raptors on Saturday night.
