As expected, Uros Djurdjevic is the newest summer addition of Olympiacos. The 23-year old Serbian striker signed a new deal with the Erythrolefki in a move from Partizan rumored to cost €2.5 million. The deal between the two clubs also includes a 10-15% re-sale clause to Partizan if Olympiacos sell the player in the future.

Djurdjevic, who caught Olympiacos’ attention during their Champions League qualifiers against Partizan, will come on board to strengthen Olympiacos’ attacking line. The “killer” in Serbia scored 28 goals in 34 appearances last season for Partizan and has managed to net 7 goals from 11 games in all competitions this season (including one against Olympiacos at the Karaiskakis stadium).

Olympiacos welcomed their new player by officially announcing his move to Piraeus on Wednesday. Although the length of his contract was not listed, sources mention that Djurdjevic has signed a 4-year deal.

The SuperLeague champions could move to sign one more striker before the end of the transfer window, which ends on August 31st. Although sources from the club state that Djurdjevic will be the last attacking addition, all possibilities remain open for a last minute “BAM” from the Erythrolefki.
