But nothing excites more the fans and supporters of the Milwaukee Bucks as they have the highest potential in winning the championship trophy and probably the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award this year. While the Greek Freak and the Bucks continue to be a safe bet for any sportsbook, consider how the sports betting industry itself could be a bet you might want to take. If you've been toying with the idea of setting up your own online sportsbook in a state with eased gambling regulations like Florida, a critical first step would be to understand the process of forming an llc in florida. This can protect your personal assets from business-oriented liabilities while you navigate the vibrant world of gambling and sports betting businesses. Just like betting on the Bucks, with the right preparation, your business endeavour may yield equally rewarding results.

What gives the Bucks the best candidate, and how is Giannis Antetokounmpo's stellar performance making all of these possible?

NBA Schedule Changes

With the sudden schedule changes due to the coronavirus pandemic, the association was forced to halt the pre-season games last March 11. As per the association schedule announcement for the 2019-2020 season last August 2019, regular games will start in October and end by April 2020 and have the NBA Finals on a target date by June 2020. But due to the pandemic, everything just went off differently.

In the latest reports, the association plans to restart the regular season by July and hopefully have the finals in October. As per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there will be only 22 teams who will join when the season restarts at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. With nine teams from the Eastern conference and 13 teams from the Western conference, from this set, we will have eight teams to be playing head to head in the playoffs.

Milwaukee Bucks Standing

Winning 70 games during the regular season is like an impossible dream for any of the NBA teams, but the Milwaukee Bucks somehow move towards that impossibility. Before the association halted the regular season, Milwaukee already recorded a 50-8 score, with an outstanding 50 wins in their first 58 games. Thus, making them the 7th team in NBA history to have such a record. The Bucks join the 53-5 ‘96 Warriors and the 52-6 ‘96 Bulls.

The Bucks still have 24 games to play— with 12 of them being home games, and the other 12 games on the road. However, there will probably be changes with this setup since the pandemic and the schedule changes that will occur when the regular season restarts by July.

Yet, seeing the Bucks on the top is still possible as Giannis Antetokounmpo is showing why he’s this year’s eastern conference all-star captain. Playing alongside Antetokounmpo is Khris Middleton, a lethal perimeter threat and a two time all-star. The Milwaukee Bucks consist of bonafide players who are ready to take the upcoming NBA season playoffs with a wave.

There's no surprise that the Bucks are leading in all online sportsbooks, showing off an increased odds together with the Western conference-leading team, the Lebron James-led Los Angeles Lakers. Giannis at his best

Milwaukee Bucks' ace player forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is showing his freak athleticism every time he is on the court. Many basketball enthusiasts and experts predict that Giannis will earn his second MVP award this year. Not to sound to be so sure with that, but Giannis outstanding records and court dominance is hard to outsell.

This 25-year old Greek professional basketball player who is tagged as the "Greek Freak" has also the potential to be awarded the "Best Defensive Player of the Year," leading the Bucks as the team with best defensive efficiency. Moreover, Giannis' average stats are 29.6 points per game with 13.7 rebounds, and 5.8 assists, earning him to be recognized and rank as a fifth all-time player in efficiency and ninth when it comes to BPM or Box Plus/Minus.

The race to earn the MVP trophy

Aside from the championship, fans look forward to who will be crowned as the MVP of the year. A lot of speculations and early predictions that there will be only two top contenders who will closely be fighting for the trophy. And that is none other than star players Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.

Each player's team is on the move to lead and win each other's respective conference league, and undoubtedly, both are showing off their skills on the court. Giannis and LeBron numbers' are scarily close to each other, making it difficult to pin down who will earn the prestigious trophy.

One significant comparison is Giannis 29.6 average score to LeBron 25.6. Nothing so spectacular about the gap, but one thing to take note that Giannis played fewer minutes compared to King James who needs to stay on the court for an extended period. This is one factor that made the two different and might be one of the reasons that will affect their performance standing.

Takeaway

The NBA is making a comeback and everyone is excited, especially for the Bucks fans who are eager to see the “Greek Freak” in action. The Bucks are looking forward to dominating the court once again. It might be a tough year for all sports fans and even for the players, but let's all hope that everything will come to order, and we can once again witness glory and entertainment.
